Smart Questions That Adapt to You

Questions That Find
Your Level.

This is not a fixed list of questions that everyone gets. The assessment listens to your answers and adjusts as you go, so it finds your level quickly and accurately.

Every Question Is Carefully Designed

Each question has been designed to measure real ability at a specific level. That means every answer tells us something meaningful about where you are.

The Next Question Is Chosen for You

Based on how you have answered so far, the assessment picks the next question that will tell us the most about your level.

It Finishes When It Knows Your Level

The assessment stops when it has a confident picture of where you stand. If your strengths are clear, you will finish faster.

Every learner gets a unique profile. Your report shows your strengths, highlights areas for development, and maps your results to national awarding body frameworks.

Built on National Standards

Built on the Essential
Digital Skills Framework.

The Essential Digital Skills Qualification sets the national benchmark for digital competency across the UK. Every question in this assessment is aligned to the EDSQ framework, so your results are meaningful and mapped to the standards that matter.

From Foundations to Workplace Confidence

The assessment covers everything from foundational digital awareness through to confidently using workplace tools on your own.

Online Safety Is Not an Afterthought

Staying safe online is its own assessed area, because knowing how to protect yourself matters just as much as knowing how to use a spreadsheet.

Results That Count

Your results provide the evidence needed for funding requirements and audit standards, so organisations can trust what they see.

Frequently Asked Questions

The assessment evaluates five domains: document management and file handling, spreadsheets and data, email and digital communication, online safety and security, and digital problem solving. It is aligned to the Essential Digital Skills Framework and mapped to BCS, NCFE, City & Guilds, OCNLR, and BTEC standards.

Most learners complete the assessment in approximately 20 minutes. The adaptive engine selects questions matched to each learner's ability, so stronger learners are not held back by easy questions and less confident learners are not overwhelmed by difficult ones.

Adaptive assessment uses Item Response Theory (IRT) and Computerised Adaptive Testing (CAT) to adjust question difficulty in real time based on each response. This produces a more precise measure of ability in fewer questions than traditional fixed-form tests, and reveals domain-level strengths and gaps.
