Evidence Pack Export

When the funding audit comes, hand them the zip.

One export per cohort or date range: an RQF-levelled results CSV, the prior attainment inputs your MIS team needs, and tamper-evident assessment PDFs. The second question on every provider call is “how do we evidence this?”. This is the answer.

What You Get

What is in the zip.

assessments.csv

One row per assessment, carrying the learner reference, subject, the RQF level placement, the below-Level-1 entitlement flag, and a recommended enrolment level.

prior_attainment_inputs.csv

The dated prior attainment records your team has captured, shaped as the inputs an MIS team uses when determining PriorAttain fields for a learner.

Evidence PDFs

A deterministic, per-assessment evidence report for every result in scope, each with a SHA-256 hash recorded when the report was first generated.

Built Around the Funding Rules

Why these fields, specifically.

RQF level placement

The Adult Skills Fund funding rules (2026 to 2027, paragraph 2.5) require initial assessment to place a learner's current skills levels within the level descriptors used for the RQF. Every result carries that placement as a first-class field, not a footnote in a PDF.

The below-Level-1 flag

The adult digital entitlement funds learners assessed at below Level 1. Each digital result carries an explicit below-Level-1 flag, so your evidence that a learner met the entitlement gate at enrolment is a field you can filter on, not a judgement you reconstruct at audit.

Recommended enrolment level

Funding guidance expects learners to be enrolled above their assessed level, and expects you to show the connection. The export carries a recommended enrolment level derived from each result, so the assessed-to-enrolled step is documented rather than implied.

A tamper-evident hash

Each evidence PDF's SHA-256 hash is stored when the report is first generated. If a file is ever questioned, you can demonstrate that what you hold today is byte-for-byte what the platform produced at the time.

Your History Comes Too

Bring your assessment history with you.

Prior attainment capture

Record each learner's prior attainment as dated, repeating records matching the 2026/27 PriorAttain shape, with levels constrained to the exact ILR PriorLevel code list. The export then carries the inputs your MIS team needs when determining PriorAttain.PriorLevel and DateLevelApp, with nothing retyped.

Historic results import

A CSV import accepts the assessment history you already hold, validated row by row with a per-row report of anything that needs fixing. Switching platforms does not mean an evidence gap in the middle of a funding year.

What this is, and is not

This is not an ILR export, and we will not pretend otherwise. Your ILR return is made by your MIS, from data your team controls. What we provide is the evidence layer underneath it: assessments that place a learner's current skills levels within the RQF level descriptors, an explicit record of the digital entitlement gate, and the dated inputs your MIS team uses to determine prior attainment fields. Our output also supports your learning support screening under the apprenticeship funding rules; it does not replace the screening itself.

Evidence Pack FAQs

Export the Evidence Pack for the cohort or date range in question from Organisation → Data & API. The zip contains a results CSV in which every assessment carries its RQF level placement and below-Level-1 entitlement flag, the prior attainment inputs captured for those learners, and a per-assessment evidence PDF whose SHA-256 hash was recorded at first generation. Together they document what was assessed, when, at what level, and that the artefacts are unchanged.

No, and we are deliberate about that claim. ILR returns are made by your MIS from data your team controls. What our export provides is the inputs: dated prior attainment records shaped so your MIS team can determine the PriorAttain fields, and assessment results placed within the RQF level descriptors. Your MIS remains the system of record for the return itself.

Yes. A historic results CSV import accepts your previous assessment outcomes with a per-row validation report, and prior attainment capture accepts dated records constrained to the exact ILR PriorLevel code list. Switching assessment platforms does not mean starting your evidence base from zero.

Organisation admins, from the Data & API page in the organisation dashboard. Exports are scoped to your organisation, produced on demand as a zip, and every generation is recorded in the audit log.

See the evidence before the auditor does.

Run a free demo assessment, or a full assessment for £7.00, and look at the evidence report it produces. Then imagine a zip of them, per cohort, on demand.
